Conditional formatting

I have a date in cell A1, How do I conditionally fill cell G5 with a fill color?

Select G5 anf Format>CF>Formula is:

=A1=has a date of some significance to G5

Only you know why the date in A1 would color G5

A1 has any date? A particular date? Same date as G5?

Maybe =A1=G5

Or =A1=TODAY()-1

Or =A1=G5 + 3

If unsure of what formula to use, provide more details.
