CONDITIONAL FORMATTING

if i use the conditional formatting option defined in
the format menu, i can define upto 3 conditions/colors..


can some one tell me how can i define more then 3.. and
up to how many conditions it is limited...

CF only allows 3. You can get 4 by having a default if none of the CF
conditions are met.

If you want more, you need VBA.

Murtaza,
CF is great because it does not matter if value is entered or
derived from a formula.

But if you need more than 3 colors (+default) then you might
want to look at an Event macro if you want the change to take
place automaticallsy.
