Conditional Formatting

Can I conditionally format such that if some one overtypes a cell that has a formula entered, it will trigger the conditional formatting?

Thanks!

Steve, i don't think that's possible. it would create a
circular reference. The best way to do it is to protect
the cells that have formulas in them.

You can also use data validation from the data menu. Go
to "Data" the "Validation" then choose "input message".
You can write a message that will appear when the cell is
selected. It will not prevent the cell from being
overwritten though.

Good Luck!,
Trip
