Conditional Formatting

I am trying to highlight numbers in Column B (B4 to B5000) based on if Column
L contains an X. If column L has an X, I want it to highlight the value in
column B.

How can this be done?

Yes. In CF, use Formula I, rather than Cell Value Is
Use the formula =L4="X" for the condition.

Thank You David, I did this =L4='X', and thats why it didnt work.
