You can't! But, you may be able to use some intermediate cells to accomplish
the same thing.

As Bob wrote, you can't do that in MacXL. However, if your cell values
are numeric and your formats change font colors, you may be able to use
a combination of CF and Custom Formatting to get up to 6 formats, e.g.:

Hi,
Since cells can have a regular color you can add 3 colors on top of that for a total of 4.
I suppose you could write an Apple Script to allow more than the built in limit of 3.
