Conditional formatting

Hello,

I need to apply conditional formatting but I need to be able to apply 8 conditions to the form. As such the built in conditional formatting command does not suffice. Can someone guide me on how to achieve more than the typical 3 conditions.

All I want is to control the color of a text box based on if certain dates are enter (and this for each row of data in the continuous form).

Thus,
if there is a start date make it blue
if there is an end date make it green
if there is a release date make it pink
if there is a refused date make it red
etc...
