Conditional Row Hiding

R

RickGreg

I have a sheet with results generated by other worksheets. Depending on
certain values, I would like selected rows to be hidden.

For example, three different sets of results are shown respectively in rows
1-10, 11-20, 21-30.

Based on the value of "Cell X", I would like to make only one of those sets
of rows visible upon opening the sheet.

Also, I want the results to be at the TOP of the sheet. For example, if
rows 21-30 are to be displayed, I'd like them to appear at the top when the
sheet is opened, not have to scroll down.

I'm a VBA dummy, so I was hoping to do this with Conditional formatting, but
can't figure out how...

Many thanks.

Why don't you place some alternate values in another cell. For example, in
an extra column, place a 1 in rows 1-10, a 2 in 11-20, a 3 in 21-30, etc.
then do an auto filter on the range. You can then select 1,2 or 3 to filter
the results.
