Conditional Sum Formula Based on Even/Odd Check

I need a formula that sums certain cells if the reference cell is even. Specifically, I want to check if cell K2 is even. If it is, then I want C16 to equal the sum of cells C17 through C24. If cell K2 is odd, then nothing should happen.

Note that C16 is located on Sheet 1, while cells C17 through C24 are on Sheet 2. Your assistance with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
