Configuration to Allow VBA access for 30-60 minutes

John

If I run my VBA app, I get the following anti-virus
warning:

"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have
stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?"

The warning is a good idea, but it only gives me
an "Allow access for 1..5..10 minutes" which is pretty
short. It would be nice to type in your own value or at
least have a larger range of 30, 60. etc.

Is there any configuration to increase the amount of
available time.

1. I'm not running Exchange
2. I would rather have it time out every 60 minutes or so
to keep the security a little higher than what something
like ClickYes provides.

Thanks,

-John

My understanding is that unless you have an Exchange Server, there is
nothing you can do about this. There are a number of articles in Microsoft's
knowledge base that talk about how to get around this thing.

Are you using the code supplied at the ClickYes web site to turn the utility
on before starting the send process and turn it off when all emails have
been sent? It works well in my apps.
