Hi,
I'm trying to configure BCM on Vista Ultimate with Outlook 2007. By
configuring I mean that I have successfully installed BCM and when I try to
configure it in Outlook I always get the following message:
"An error has occurred which stops Business Contact Manager for Outlook from
starting. Remove Business Contact Manager for Outlook, and then reinstall it.
If the error recurs, click Help."
Basically what "Help" suggest is to reinstall BCM, which I have done without
any success.
One thing to note: I had already installed SQL2005 on this computer before I
installed BCM. When I had installed BCM, which installs SQLEXPRESS, I updated
the SQLEXPRESS instance that BCM installs to version 9.0.3042. Independent of
what version I try, I always get the same message.
I have also run windows update for updating Office 2007 to the latest version.
Does anyone have suggestions on what to test next?
