Hi,
I normally connect to the internet using my broadband account.
I also have a dial up account on the same laptop which I use when I'm
away.
In Outlook I've got email accounts set up in my send/receive group, for
both ISPs.
Connection for both email accounts is configured for LAN.
All works fine.
Problem is when I go away I want to plug in a RJ11 and use the internal
modem and connect via the dial up account.
If I choose in the connection tab 9of the email account) to use LAN and
then also select the check box "Connect using modem when Outlook is
offline", then in the Modem drop down list select the dial up
connection, what happens is that I can dial out when away but at home
when connected to the LAN, Outlook tries to connect using the dial up
account.
Can anyone tell me how to get around this problem so that all I have to
do is plug in the RJ11 when away and get a connection and when at home
just use the LAN without having to change any settings?
Thanks
