Configure for Outgoing mail only

Hello,
this may be a simple question to answer but it is beating me.

I want to set a mail account that only uses the available SMTP server to
send out mail. The user does not have his own account (The reply address
goes to another user in that group of people)

Outlook demands a POP server name. If I put a fake one it will ask for a
name/password every time it checks for new mail.
