Our Microsoft Exchange server is configured so that the mailbox names
are exactly the same as the domain names.
When we configure a PC that is running XP or 2000, we have a user log
on (creating a user profile on that PC). Then we configure Outlook
(2000 or 2002) to point to our Exchange Server and the user's email
box. We repeat this step for every user of the PC. This can be more
that 15 different users for a single PC. This is a huge waste of time
considering that the mailbox name is the same as the user name.
Roaming profiles are not an option. Is there any way to configure
Outlook to use the username as the mailbox name so that we do not need
to configure each person's mail box for each user profile?
