Configure the outlook with exchange server and pop3 to work togeth

Hello,

I was finish to configure outlook 2003 with a local exchange server and a
POP3 account from one ISP, the mailbox look fine but when try to send any
message via one of the accounts (exchange or POP) the default configuration
account try to send via the other (exchange try to send via POP3 address when
exchange is the default and POP3 try to send via exchange server), when one
of the accounts is deleted, the other one work fine, what happen? is the
outlook 2003 can't work with the both kind of mail servers?, help me if one
tip let me know how I need to do?
