Configuring Custom Callouts

What is the best way to configure multiple custom callouts at the same time?

I would like to use the custom callouts to display any combination of three
custom properties for a shape. When I select multiple custom callouts and try
configure, Visio only changes one of them. I need to change all of them at
once.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

One idea: perhaps you can configure one, then make a master out of it?

1. Drop your callout
2. Configure it
3. File > Shapes > Show Document Stencil
4. Drag your callout to the now-visible stencil. (This stencil belongs to
the document and contains local copies of masters used in your document.)
5. Select master, hit F2 and give it a nice name.
6. Drop away!

Thanks for the response Chris, but I need to be able to change them more
dynamically. I done what you suggested to configure all of the custom
callouts originally, but I'd like to be able to change all of them as needed.

Any other ideas?
