Configuring LDAP for ProjectServer 2007

I am currently trying to setup a project server 2007 using form
authentication (LDAP). I have followed the instruction to given from
Microsoft on "Create a Project Web Access site that uses forms-based
authentication against an LDAP data store" url =
http://technet2.microsoft.com/Offic...6993-47e7-be9e-925fef3cfd021033.mspx?mfr=true

I could not verify communication with the LDAP directory and after some
searching from the internet, I found that the
Microsoft.Office.Server.Security.LDAPMembershipProvider" is part of MOSS-2007
and not WSS3.0. Is that true and if that is the case, how should I proceed
with the form authentication from here?

Thanks
Godrid

Hi Gary,

Thanks for replying. I have read the whole article on the URL, let me
explain my scenario.

I have previously setup a project 2007 server using user accounts of the
local computer then I setup ADAM in another server to test the form
authentication feature of project server. I followed the step by step
procedures from the link but got stuck in the verify communication with LDAP
directory. I could not locate the users in the LDAP and I believe it has to
do with read permission to the LDAP directory. I opened the "ADAM ADSI Edit"
but just could not locate my project server
to add permission to the user.

Anyway, I have tried to install ADAM on the same computer as the project
server 2007 and everything works perfectly.

Sorry if this is not the correct place to post question relating to ADAM but
I do not know where else I could post my question.

Thanks again

Godrid
