Configuring Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007...

D

David Thielen

Hi;

Does anyone know why about every 4th or 5th time I start Word I get
the message

"Configuring Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007...",

and then part way through the configure I get:

Error 1907.Could not register font . Verify that you have sufficient
permissions to install fonts, and the the system supports this font.

It gives me Abort, Retry, Ignore but Ignore is the only way to be able
to run Word.

??? - thanks - dave

Hello Dave,

I am sorry that Word does not work properly. Actually, a few months ago, I
also encountered a similar issue because I install the Word 2003 after
installing Word 2007. After uninstalling the Word 2003 and repairing Word
2007, everything gets working fine.

If this does not help in your side, please follow the following link to see
if that approach can resolve your problem.

Since this is not an Office dev related issue, I would like to suggest you
post in the Office product newsgroup. Experts there may have a quick idea
about the issue on product side.
