I run Vista and just upgraded from Office XP to Office Enterprise 2007.
Everytime I open a Word file I get a window that quickly pops up and says
"please wait while setup prepares the necessary files". Then the window
quickly disappears and a new window opens that says "Configuring Microsoft
Office Enterprise 2007" and there is a status bar below it.....it takes some
time for the status bar to fill then the file/doc opens.
Should I uninstall and reinstall?
(this also happens with excel files with the added bonus that an error msg
pops up first saying stdole32.tlb, then when I click on the ok button I enter
the configue window mentioned above.)
