Configuring Office 2007

I have just installed Office 2007 Small Business on my Windows Vista (64 bit)
desktop, and every time I try to open Word I receive this message
"Configuring Microsoft Office Small Business 2007". It needs to configure
itself every time it opens and this is driving me a little batty. Does
anyone have a solution to this? Thanks. Steve

Have a look at the registry fix on my site at

- it will often fix the problem.

I found this fix on another thread and it worked like a charm for me. If you
log in as the computer administrator (not on the domain or as a user with
administrator priviledges but under the local "Adminstrator" user name, and
open all of the office programs and let it configure. When you log back in
under your normal user id it may reconfigure once more (it didn't for me) but
that should cure it.
