Configuring Outlook 2002 w/Groupwise 5.5

If I attempt to access the Calendar functions of Outlook it crashes. If I try to access the Contacts function of Outlook it gives me the calendar, albeit an unpopulated one. I can download and send mail just fine using POP3 using Outlook but how do get it to recognize Calendars and Contacts on a Groupwise 5.5 system
