Configuring Outlook 2002

Hi
I have Outlook setup to look to Exchange Server for my
email. The only problem with that is that I don't have
virus protection this way.

When I remove the MS Exchange Server account, and add a
POP3 account and point it to the server, I get all kinds
of problems with sending/receiving. I have to have the
Exchange account for email to work properly.

In Outlook 2000, there was an option to reconfigure
Outlook for either Exchange or POP3. Does 2002 not have
this option, and the only way to change it is by the new
accounts?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in
advance.

Correct. Outlook 2002 controls your mail connects through its Tools | Email Accounts command.
