Configuring Outlook 2003 to work with my Speakeasy.net web email?

I have the problem that the "from" field is deleted
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=872896) but i cannot tell from this MS
bulletin if the message should be sent and the only problem is with the copy
of the message in my "Sent Items" folder having the "from" email address
deleted. Also outgoing messages never leave my "Outbox". Also, I get an
error message saying that the message encountered a sending error having to
do with SSL, but I have not selected SSL in my setup?

Inbound email and messages sent to the same domain as my email service seem
to work OK.
