O
Outlook Bandit
I am trying to configure the specifics of the views in outlook 2003, how big
the windows are, grouping, etc., in a mandatory profile. In outlook 2000 I
just opened Outlook and configured everything to spec then made the mandatory
profile from that. It was fine because modporf correctly entered the values
that I need so users would have access to their mailbox when they logged on.
Now I am using a MST with the MSI since they dumped ModProf. If I open
outlook in the profile then make the mandatory profile from that the
username stays as the current user. The MST does not correctly adjust the
username when the user logs on. The MST works great if I have not opened
outlook in the mandatory profile, then it configures everything correctly but
I get the default look and feel. How do I get a custom look and feel but
still keep the config changes that the MST makes? Do I now have to add every
value in the registry via a logon script to customize the views? Modprof
made things so much easier.
