word 2003
On some of my computers, I am not asked to confirm data source after
selecting an excel file to merge. It asks to select a table from
within the selected excel file. (all computers are running the same
version of word 2003)
I am told that if when the confirm data source dialog box is
displayed and I select the MS Excel worksheets via DDE option button,
this will cause word to keep the excel formatting. ( the ultimate
goal)
