confirmation page _private

Can you put your confirmation page in the _private folder. Will it work. If
afterwards, in form properties you send to filename
_private/form_results.csv, and don't save your confirmation page with an .asp
extention. Will you find your results in the _private/form_results.csv on the
server? Would you be able to access it with MS Access.

No don't put your confirmation page in the _private folder
The FP forms handler does not support .asp pages
You can export a .csv file to your PC from FP, and open it with Access
- but you can't open it online with Access

You can put the confirmation page in the _private folder, but it will not
work. Users will either be prompted to log in or will receive a 403
(unauthorised) error - and the form itself may also throw an error and
fail.

If you use the send to file option in form properties and specify a .csv
file, then the form data will be saved in the specified file. This can be
downloaded and Imported into Access, or opened directly in Excel.
