conflict messages from shared document

Hi,
I have an excel 2003 file that is shared in a shared folder in 'All Public
Folders' (on the SBS2003 server). I have 10 other users that also access the
file and edit it too. We keep getting a Conflict Message from Public Folder
Store (server). Multiple edits have been made to " FILE RECORDS NUMBER.xls".
The concflicting edits have been attached to a conflict message in
"filename".
Is this because users are editing the file at the same time? I don't think
they are.

Having it open could be enough. Especially when they hit Save or AutoSave is
on.
