confused over language change

Hi all, I live in france but have my computer set for English, all ok until
recently when the messenger widow opens on start up (in English) the today
window is now in French. All help files are in French. Every advert is also
in French. I really want the help files in English, when I request this I am
told (in English) that the English help files are not available yet.

Hi Wayne,

I have just done as you suggested but it was already set up for English. I
only get items in French on certain applications. All to complicated for me.
