Confused!!!

Hi!

Please some one help me... This isn't just geared towards Word but the problem occurs with Microsoft Project Gallery. I have English set as my default language... I open a template (lets use resume' for example) and the whole thing comes up in Spanish making it very annoying for someone who doesn't speak the language at all.

I've been trying everything looking up every possible solution on this site please some one rescue me in this agony!! Haha

Hi Amanda,

the templates are not in Spanish, they are in some kind of nonsense language
whose only purpose is to fill the pages to give you an impression of what a
filled page would look like. The text is a mixture of a number of languages,
above all Latin and Greek, to make sure you focus on the general layout
instead of the individual words. This practice is generally referred to as
"greeking"; see the "In visual media" section of the following page for more

Although here is some controversy over exactly what "language" it really is,
it isn't Spanish Regardless, it's merely Placeholder or "filler" text
intended to give the new document a bit more of a realistic appearance...
Simply select & replace that content with your own.

All I said was that there is some "controversy" on the issue - read the
replies from Clive, Michel & others here and elsewhere. I have no idea - it
might as well be Sanskrit or a quote from Jabberwocky or some other ranting
from a drug-enhanced lunatic for all I know... or care The point is it's
*placeholder content* that needs to be replaced.
