Having had Project Server 2003 and WSS installed, I have 2 questions
regarding the notification e-mails.
1) When a project issue is raised, the notification e-mail contains two
links. The first of these takes you to the home page of the project sub web
within WSS and the second to the specific issue. The problem is that both of
these take you in through the WSS route rather than PWA and therefore cause
confusion for users with the different menus etc. Is there any way of
resolving this?
2) When a team member recieves an overdue task reminder, if they click on
the link provided, it takes tham to the "view resource assignments" page, for
which they have no permissions. Firstly, why does it send them to this page
not the timesheet page, and secondly, is there a way to correct this.
I am hoping that somebody can help as these are currently giving new users a
negative view of the product.
