connect 2003 project database for project 2007

Hi,
I am new to project.i am facing a question from my client " can we connect
project 2003 database from project professional 2007. i don't think it is
possible because we don't specify connection string for project professional
2007 but to be sure i welocme your expert advise.

No, this is not possible. Project Professional 2007 can only connect to
Project Server 2007, while Project Professional 2003 can only connect to
Project Server 2003. Hope this helps.
