Connect Access to Sage FR100?

anyone had any sccuess with this process?
The Sage GUI is too restrictive .. and very slow.
I have been dumping the Sage tables to Excel, importing the tables to
Access, then running queries based on those tables.
But - it seems to me there must be a more streamlined method.
