We have project server 2003 (OS is windows server 2003) installed on company
private LAN A. Users have installed project professional 2003 on their own
machines, some OS are windows professional 2000 with latest update, some are
Windows XP professional with SP1 installed but not latest update and other
have XP professional with SP2 and latest windows updated as well office
updated. All these machines are on same private LAN B. And all these
machine get online via a proxy. Those whose OS are 2000 or xp+SP1 can
connect project server without problem. However, those whose OS are
xp+latest update cannot connect with project server. The error message: The
server at 'http://projectserver's address' returned the following error to
project " proxy does not allow the use of your client program"
What's wrong with project server or windows OS or proxy or project pro?
Any idea will be appreciated.
