Connect to the remote host using FrontPage

Using FrontPage 2002

On a FrontPage web site, I am using some webbots, where the data entered
is sent via email and stored in a file under /_private/abc.txt on the
hosting
web server. However, if I attempt to download the text file with an ftp
program, it corrupts the web server FrontPage extensions and I have to
start all again to be able to publish FrontPage to the web server. Is there
a
way

How can I connect to the remote host using FrontPage and then drag and drop
the text file that stores the data entered to the local PC.
