Connect with Entourage 2004 to Exchange 2007

Hello

To connect with Entourage 2004 to Exchange 2007 work great, if I use the
connection setting webmail.mydomain.my/exchange/[email protected]. and also
with active DAV & SSL ...

Now my two questions?
Is there a way to standardize these settings, I mean If I create a DNS alias
for webmail.mydomain.my/exchange/[email protected] to example
macexa.mydomain.my, I have a problem with /exchange/[email protected] and
also certificate error message, and my created DNS alias without
/exchange/[email protected] it's not work,
there is really no other possibility for this long long entry?

The MAC systems are located on the intranet, as do I bring to the DAV
without SSL running for Entourage, that is standard port 80 and not 443?

Your DNS alias can only be for "webmail.mydomain.my". It can not be for
the entire "webmail.mydomain.my/exchange/[email protected]" string.
Even if you use a DNS alias you'd still need to use
"macexa.mydomain.my/exchange/[email protected]".

The long address is necessary, unfortunately, in some situations. Does
your Exchange Server not have the Legacy applications installed?

I suggest using a backend Exchange Server rather than your OWA
connection. Typically, within your network you don't need to enabled
SSL. Have a look at this blog post:

Hope this helps!
