Connecting Business Contact Mgr to remote database.

D

David Hirschfeld

I have a remote database server on which I have installed
the Business Contact Manager database. I have set up a
connection using Client Network Utility and registered it
with Enterprise Manager. But when I use Outlook 2003's
Manage Database dialog, I can't for the life of me figure
out how to expose the database so that it can be
referenced by Outlook as the current Business Contact
Manager database. Can anyone help me out?

Your answer was not very definite. Are you saying that
there is definitely no way to have multiple workstations
connecting to BCM? If that is true, then how would
someone share business contact data with a co-worker? If
not with BCM then is there an exchange extension or
something that makes this possible?

Hi David,

Since it is designed for local system, you can using the BCM's functions of
importing and exporting to a file for share issue.
