I developed an application back in 97 with ACCESS 97 with links to Borland dBaseIV files (many of them). Did a 2000 conversion and lost links to the Borland. Installed the BDE engine in the background and all came back including indexes. Upgraded System to Windows 2000/MSOFFICE 2003 with ACCESS 2003 and again loose the indexes and can see some tables in dBaseIV but loose sight of data in others because of index problems. Does anyone know of an easy way to move on up to ACCESS 2003 and solve this dBASE IV problem. DAO? ODBC? ADO? I would like to get by this round without the dumb BDE in the background.
Help?
