Connecting Fields to Online DB

I want to use MS Access to collect information about different investment
options.

Is it possible to link to a specific field in an online db published on a
Web page so that the fields in my Access db will update automatically "real
time"
each time I open the Access db?

If so could you tell me how I can learn more about this?
