connecting line in an organization ch

How do I delete a specific connecting line in an organization chart. The
only option is to cut but then it deletes some other boxes. Also how do I
choose the connecting line to be straight.

In Org Chart, select the line you want to "delete". Then choose the line
color "No Line"

The automatic connector lines in an Org Chart are all angled and this
behavior can not be changed. You can however, hide the automatic connector
(using the above technique) and replace it manually with a line connector
(AutoShapes => Connectors => Strait Connector). These can be altered.
