Hi,
I'm having problems connecting Project Professional 2003 to Project Server
2003. My EPM solution is deployed in a cluster server environment and I have
2 IP's and a hostname which can be used to connect to the Project Server. In
Project Professional, I try to configure the Project Server account and click
test it gives me an error "Unexpected Server response". If I try using the
Virtual IP, it fails. If I use the actual IP or the hostname it works.
Sometimes all the 3 doesn't work from select systems. I checked the
permission on all the asp files as specified in the Knowledge Base article.
All my client machines use Win XP Pro. All are not a part of domain.
I also face this problem when I am configuring this over a VPN connection.
In the above cases I am able to connect using all the private IP's and the
hostname to Project Web Access.
