I have a simple webpage that was previously connected to Access for querying
purposes. I have been informed by our IT people that we can no longer have
*.MDB files in the FPDB folder. So, I have deleted the database from the
FPDB folder.
We have created a SQL table that is linked to our Access Database a DSN.
How do I connect the Frontpage website to the SQL table or DSN so it will
query the SQL table for results? I have tried to choose Insert, Database,
Results. Then I chose Create a New Database Connection. I configured the
Database Connection Properties to Connect via a "Network Connection to the
Database Server". In the Database Connection Dialog box I select SQL Server
as the database driver. Then I selected the Server name and SQL database
name. Next, I went in to the advanced settings and typed the user name and
password. When I choose Verify, I receive the message that the server
encountered an error while processing. Is there another way to do
this...perhaps by referencing the system DSN?
