Connecting to AOL server for email using Visa Premium and Outlook

I am receiving error message "A connection to server could not be
established. IMAP.AOL.COM is now in offline mode. Server or network
problem. Protocol imap; port 143". I have a new Dell Laptop which is
running Visa Premium. I loaded Outlook 2003 and attempted to configure my
e-mail account to enable my AOL mail to download to Outlook. I have
successfully done this in the past using XP. All settings are per AOL and
Microsoft instructions and configured similar to my XP computer. I still get
the above error message. HELP.
