Connecting to ShapeStudio

Hi

Can anyone provide some advice, I have installed the MSDE and installed the
Visio 2003 SDK but visio will not allow me to connect or start a new project

I get Error 80040e13 could not find stored procedure
'SelectShapeStudioVersion'

Any ideas?
