Connecting Woord2003 to a secure Access database

Dag All,

A customer runs a secure Access application (userlevel security based on a
..mdw file). For mailmerge in Word2000 I can use the queries in the
database, it works OK from Word2000, The database asks for a user-id and
password. When I try to do the same from anoyher workstation running
Woord2003 I get an error about the DDE link, there is no request for an
user-id or password.
Has this got anything to do with the installed features of Word2003?, User
level security?, anything else?
