Connection from home to BCM

I have a user on Vista Home with BCM 2007 installed. They connect over VPN
with the domain login and can access all the file shares. When they try to
add the existing BCM from the server they get the error that their local
login (DH) does not have access to the database server. How can they use
their domain login (Dean) instead of their local login connect to BCM?
