Connection problem with 60-day trial

I just started the 60-day trial with Windows Office 2007 and am trying to
connect Outlook with one of my 2 email accounts (Account A). I have tried to
send emails from Outlook to both acounts (Accounts A and B) and neither gets
beyond the Outbox. I have temporarily disabled Norton and that made no
difference. I have sent messages between Accounts A and B directly and they
work fine. I keep getting the message "Enter network password," one for SMTP
and one for POP. The Account A username and password are correctly entered
in the message box. I assume I need to take some additional step to get a
network connection but I don't know what the step is. Can someone help?
