Connection to Exchange 2007 SP1

After installing the update from file (not Auto Update) to our Office
for Mac "test" machine, Entourage no longer wants to connect to our
Exchange 2007 SP1 server. Keeps returning the "Mail cannot be
recieved at this time: Bad username/password" error. The account is
fine as the user can log into OWA with no problems. I have recreated
the profile once already to no avail. The only thing left (as far as
I can see) is to reinstall Office back to 12.0.0. Any other ideas?

Using OS X 10.4.1

How are you connecting Entourage with the Exchange Server?

If you are using Exchange 2007 you must have certificate installed on the
server (default behavior).

Make sure you have "This DAV service require SSL" checked in the accounts
settings in Entourage.

If this doesn't work go through MS KB 931350 and try using explicit URL.

Hope that help.

We are already using Explicit URL formating. The address we are using
is "webmail.pmic.com\exchange\(emp. #)@pm.local". Access from the
outside is shut off so I dont feel bad about posting it here. Also
confirmed that "DAV...SSL" is checked.
