connections between files

please tell me that MS could not have overlooked the links that are between
Excel files, and that the links don't seem to work within the groove folder
structure when used in a sharepoint folder. In other words, the "temp"
folder in which all seems to be stored doesn't seem to be able to track
connections between files. Is that true?

Hi Boris -

Yes its true, sadly. Maintaining the links would be a good feature for the
next version.

before seeing this, had decided to go that direction anyway. Figured all my
group was going to lose was the ctrl-L functionality of pointing each other
to places within the app, but also figured that the combination of:

1) zip files that work without quirks
2) save as... directly to folder structure
3) no need for additional window to run to get to file (since they appear in
all apps as regular folder)
some others

was enough to overlook loss of ctrl-L. Bottom line is MS needs to think a
bit more on this one, but the team definitely loves the functionality of
seemless synching that is eased with it.
