I saw a previous post titled: ("connectors" option in AutoShape). This post
pointed out that the shapes with connectors needed to be placed on a drawing
canvas. This is not the issue I am having. My drawing option is set to
automatically create the drawing canvas.
The problem I am having:
After I set several boxes with connectors, I want to change where the
elbow connector's middle line is positioned. When I attempt to move it with
the yellow-diamond node, the dashed line appears that it will move. But it
end result is that the line snaps back to where Word wants to place it. The
Automatic positioning appears to force the elbow-bend to be half the distance
between the two end points.
I am running OfficeXP (Microsoft Word 2002).
I have tried changing settings dealing with the grid but cant seem to effect
the automatic positioning of the elbow-connectors. Anyone know of a setting
that will let me place the line where I choose?
