I have a group of shapes that I call jumpers. It includes a shape with
two connectors, they represent things like diodes, capacitors,
resistors and ordinary wire jumpers. Their connectors ends are labeled
+ or - and connect to terminal strips whose terminals are labeled
according to a vendor supplied shop drawing. Currently all the info
for the terminal strips is stored in a database as well as which
terminal gets a jumper and what kind of jumper it is. The drawing is
generated from that databse using VBA. Most of the drawings are very
similar and are based on developed templates. However the jumpers are
placed manually and I have to make the final connection. What I would
like to do is palce the jumper in one predefined position, on the
drawing, and have the ends connect to the terminal automatically. How
do I do that? Is there a tutorial? I have some books and read many
articals but reallly seem to be at a lost as how to do this. Any help
would be appreciated.
