Consecutive Page Numbers - need blank page in between

K

Karin

I have documents that require that page numbering be consecutive, but there
is often a section break for format change and the next page should not have
a page number (sort of like "This page intentionally left blank), but the
next page should be the next page number as if there were no blank page. Is
there a way to automatically get this page number (rather than manually
setting the page number in the footer). (Trying to clarify: Regular page 1,
blank page, regular page 2)
TIA

If this is for a printout, the easiest solution would be (at least if
you are not duplexing) to print the document and then just add blank
sheets where appropriate.

At least in theory, you should be able to use section breaks, a first
page header, and calculated page numbers to create completely blank
pages. Note that calculated page numbers will not display in a table
of contents or index, though.
